Its core activities include planning, analysing, integrating, procuring and controlling the supply of all the materials and services to sustain our operations at a required level efficiently and effectively.

Material Control

Material Control deals with the eminent part of supply chain, service and repair requirements to satisfy AEC business. Material Control’s objective is to grow in a manner such that our customers recognise us as the highest value added logistics services in the region. It comprises of front-end (planning) and back-end (operations) activities.

Material Planning

Material planning helps us provides cost-effective and scalable solutions that ensure the availability of the right material at the right time at the right quantity and at the right quality,thereby meeting the production schedule. Its core activities are:

  • Forecast/Analyse material requirements and recommend attrition stock level based on provided information by Project Management

  • Plan and determine the material requirement, initiate the ordering process and coordinate with respective functions to ensure on time material availability according to business needs

  • Establish & maintain acceptable inventory level for each project

  • Planning group interacts with several AEC departments i.e. Business Units, Manufacturing, Configuration, Quality, Procurement and Finance to meet production schedule and on-time shipment delivery to AEC valued customers


Receive and ensure all incoming materials from various vendors in accordance with AEC’s orders.

Our warehouses are environmentally ESD controlled and equipped with advanced handling and stocking equipments to satisfy AEC’s business requirements.
Inventory Control

Inventory Control section maintain optimal inventory turnover and high inventory accuracy by using cycle count and various other method within the state of art ORACLE based ERP system.


Shipping section ensures efficient distribution of finished goods and other products by utilising preferred domestic and international carriers. We effectively manage all valuable shipments in a timely and cost-effective manner through logistic strategy and global transport.


The prime objective of Procurement is to secure all the materials and services required by us from qualified sources with right quality in a timely and cost effective manner. It is structured with highly skilled and experienced professionals catering to varied business demands. Our capabilities have been built over years to secure necessary supplies. A trained professional team, well versed with the import regulations of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, takes care of all necessary imports and customs duty exemption activities. All Procurement processes are framed on best practices in the industries, optimised with the state-of-art ERP system and seamlessly integrated with all other business functions.
