Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) was established in 1988 to create local capabilities in strategic areas like advanced manufacturing technologies, communication systems and product support. AEC has grown rapidly to become the leading high technology engineering and manufacturing company in the electronics field in the Kingdom.
AEC Charter includes Design, Development, Manufacture, Testing, Modifications, Upgrades, Repair and Logistical Support of Electronic Products and Systems for Military, Civil, and Industrial Customers.
AEC's efforts are directed towards developing national capabilities in strategic areas through technology transfer, regular training and in-house research & development thereby enhancing the Kingdom's self-sufficiency and improving operational readiness of advanced systems through local maintenance and support.
AEC has been able to acquire considerable technological knowledge through partnership with international companies and development of comprehensive R & D capabilities. So far AEC has developed substantial design and sophisticated manufacturing capabilities. AEC continues to invest in expanding its capabilities in R&D, manufacturing, test processes and manpower development.
Presently, AEC is involved in a number of significant national defense, telecommunication, Civil & Industrial projects and providing its products and service to leading international companies.
