1. M1A2 Abrams Tank Electronics (1991-1996)

  AEC built electronics for the Saudi Land Force's M1A2 Abram Tanks. Program contents were built, tested, and inspected by AEC from the component level.

2. F-15S Fighter Co-Production (1994-1998)

Northrop Grumman/Boeing/Smiths/Hughes

 
AEC built various electronics for the Saudi Air Force F15S aircraft. Program contents were built, tested, and inspected by AEC from the components level.

AEC received contracts for the manufacturing of major sub-assemblies of the Saudi F-15S electronics. In 1994, in collaboration with Boeing (MDC), AEC was awarded a number of sub-contracts with F-15S OEM’s to manufacture various electronic LRU’s on the F-15S.

3. F-16 Fighter Electronics for Export (1994-To date)

 

AEC is building electronics for the UAE's F16 aircrafts under a sub contract with LM.

AEC received the STAR supplier award from Lockheed Martin for this project

Program contents were built, tested, and inspected by AEC from component level.

4. Paveway II Laser Guided Bombs (LGB) (1997-1999)

Contracts:

Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF)

AEC prepared Paveway II missiles for RSAF. Program contents were built, tested, and inspected by AEC from component level.

5. Tactical Radio Systems (Ongoing)

AEC has been awarded multiple contracts for the manufacture, test, installation, support, including training, for military tactical radios (Jaguar & Panther).  Radio contracts have been awarded to AEC by MOWAG, FMC, RSLF Signal Corps, McDonnell Douglas, General Dynamics Land Systems, and the US Army.   In addition to tactical radios on these programs, AEC supplied technical and engineering data and services, provisioning documenta­tion, spares and training information.

6. Sophie Portable Thermal Imager (For Export) (1999-to date)Contract with Thales (formerly Thomson-CSF)

 

End Customer: Saudi MODA and MOI

Program contents were built, tested, and inspected by AEC from the components level.

Major Repair Projects:

JAMMER ALQ-135 B1&2 Repair
Transfer of repair capability of the F-15 EWC suite from the U.S and implementation of the repair operation In-Kingdom. First ever EW Depot outside the U.S. authorized by the USAF. Follow on will include Band 3 and Band 1.5 and the ALE-45 and ALR-56 Systems as well.

Special Repair Activities (SRA)
Transfer of the Special Repair Activity from KKMC, which was under Lockheed Martin, to the AEC facility under the auspices of AEC. The SRA repairs the TADS/PNVS/Night Vision Systems on the Saudi Apache Helicopter.

Expanded Repair Capabilities (ERC) LANTIRN System
Established the LANTIRN Expanded Repair Capability at AEC facilities for Saudi Air Force. Trouble shooting the two LANTIRN Pods and repairing selected Assemblies and CCA’s. Follow on capability will be for added coverage of CCA’s.

AEC installed "MADAR" Vehicle tracking system in one of the air bases in Saudi Arabia.
