| The Industrial Systems Business Unit (ISBU) is a newly created department that is tasked with the promotion of AEC-developed products and systems. The Unit interfaces with AEC customers through its business development and sales staff. The Unit also coordinates its activities with other AEC departments but does have very close links with the different development groups within the R&D department. The ISBU is focused currently on two major business areas; namely, Electric Power Automation systems and GPS-based Fleet Management Solutions. The first include digital meters, AMR systems, and Sequence of Event Recorders for use by Utility distribution, generation and transmission sectors. The ISBU also handles the sales of the Nedaa Prayer device; a cultural product that was developed by AEC and has been widely accepted in the Kingdom for use in mosques, offices, markets;, etc. |
