The Sequence of Event Recorder (AEC-SER)
is an intelligent standalone microprocessor based system that records
remotely occurring events. AEC-SER is best suited for systems that
require accurate chronological acquisition and recording of incoming
status lines. Such lines are frequently found in power generation
plants, Electrical Sub-stations, process plants and automated control
systems. AEC-SER is optimized to serve real time process automation
systems for monitoring and time stamping critical events.

System Layout and Capabilities
AEC-SER is a windows based utility to ensure maximum flexibility
and user friendly interfaces. It is designed in an adaptive
manner so that different users can benefit from its functionality.
The components are installed in an industrial mounting rack
and the terminal boards are mounted for convenience of viewing
for the user. The rack will accommodate the PC, monitor, printer,
terminal boards, interface cards and the uninterruptible power
supply. AEC-SER greatly facilitates monitoring processes and
data acquisition. Its features make it a unique system suitable
for any organization. The system is designed to support user-defined
functions. If needed, AEC can customize the design so as to
fulfill specific customers requirements.
