The partnership was established in 1998 and has now spanned more than 27 years in supporting Saudi youth to achieve the highest levels of academic excellence in research and innovation.
SAMI Advanced Electronics Company (SAMI-AEC) is a subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), the Kingdom's national defense and security manufacturing champion. SAMI-AEC specializes in advanced electronics, defense systems, cybersecurity, and digital solutions, driving local capability development in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

Founded in 1957, King Saud University is the Kingdom's oldest and most prestigious institution of higher learning, based in Riyadh.
