King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) which own Dhahran Techno Valley Company have signed a technical cooperation agreement with Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) in the area of research and development. Under this agreement KFUPM , Techno Valley Company and AEC will be team up as technical partners to provide ICT and security systems and solutions in Kingdom and in the region. The agreement was signed by H.E. Dr. Khalid Al-Sultan, KFUPM’s Rector and Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, AEC’s President & CEO. On the occasion of signing the agreement Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, AEC’s CEO stated “AEC is honored to sign this technical cooperation agreement with KFUPM. This is a major step since most of Saudi universities mission are diversify to providing advance research beyond the academics and that can be applied to smart investment projects matching top leading international research centers. Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) has signed a MoU with SABIC (Saudi Arabian Basic Industries Corporation) during SABIC’s initiative Nusaned Program Event. This cooperation agreement illustrates the two companies’ commitment to transfer technology to the Kingdom of the Saudi Arabia to enhance local capabilities and to develop the Saudi workforce skills. Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, AEC’s President & CEO signed the agreement with Mr. Uwaidh AlHarethi, EVP, Innovation and Business Development of SABIC, during Nusaned Program. This MoU comes as a result of SABIC strategic initiatives to develop the localization of good and service and enhance Saudi capabilities to meet the objectives of Saudi vision 2030. Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) and WAHAJ, have signed a technical cooperation agreement during the Armed Forces Exhibition for Diversification of Local Manufacturing (AFED) 2018 held in Riyadh.
Under this agreement, Advanced Electronics Company (AEC), a leading company in the region that is capable of designing, developing, manufacturing and repairing
sophisticated military and commercial electronics will work with WAHAJ as a team
partner to manufacture and develop various electronics products and systems, in the
area of aerospace, defense, security and ICT services. The collaboration of AEC and
WAHAJ will aim at providing in-country solutions for the public sector and private
entities in Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Abdulaziz Al- Duailej, CEO of AEC, stated “This agreement confirms the excellent cooperation between the two local companies and will create local capabilities to fulfill the needs and requirement of the different military branches in Saudi Arabia.
